The Committee on Accreditation for Polysomnographic Technologist Education (CoA PSG) became a member of the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs ( CAAHEP ) in April 2003. The mission of the CoA PSG in cooperation with CAAHEP is to establish, maintain and promote appropriate standards of quality for educational programs in polysomnographic technology and to provide recognition for educational programs that meet or exceed the minimum standards outlined in the accreditation Standards and Guidelines for the Accreditation of Educational Programs in Polysomnographic Technology.
