The time it took me to generate a basic essay was counterproductive and did not yield impressive results.

Copy AI has a quick registration process that will only take you a couple of minutes. The signup is slightly more complicated if you are a company representative and sign up on behalf of your specific organization, which was not how I decided to approach this Copy.ai overview. After clicking on the Login button at the top of the page, I was asked for my personal details (first name, last name, email, and password) to complete registration. Once the registration was over, I was redirected to the user dashboard with workflows, chats, and configuration on the left. Setting up my workspace was the next step of my Copyai review. I tapped on the workflow icon and was asked to insert my prompt for instant folder generation.

1. Log into your Copy AI account to get started.

2. Go to the dashboard section and click on a new project.

3. Since there are no direct essay templates for Copy AI, I entered the command “generate an essay” manually.

4. I entered the Copy.ai prompt, briefly describing the essay that I wanted - an overview of travesty performance styles with an emphasis on exaggerated femininity and gender context.

5. Copy AI added background information without my interference, tweaking my request and telling the AI writing tool they were a specialist in gender studies.

6. From this, things quickly got complicated. I was fully expecting Copy AI to start generating, but it turns out you have to go through a series of complicated and often nonsensical prompts to make it comply. For example, I was asked to provide a webpage as my essay reference, as well as someone’s LinkedIn profile for better workflow (this was especially confusing since I wanted Copy AI to craft a gender essay).
