Despite the claims about the writers’ UK or US origin and academic prowess, the paper I received had a lot of room for improvement. Some parts were utter hogwash, while others were all right, but riddled with mistakes. The revision didn’t help much, and I had to spend several hours trying to put the paper to rights.
