Despite my negative experience with samedaypapers.com, scam it is not. They do exchange writing services for money, but don’t expect to get good quality, reasonable explanations, or a logical order process. I won’t be coming back for more, and I wouldn’t recommend this company even to my arch-nemesis.

Is SameDayPapers scam? The company does everything to convince users otherwise. There are fancy graphics, multiple glowing testimonials, and outstanding writer ratings. However, there’s something strange and awkward about the website, like the complicated order process with a drawn-out bidding war.

The company is also stingy about its origin and history, and I couldn’t find any mentions of how long it has been around. These inconsistencies, big and small, confused me and dispelled any feelings of trust I’d developed at first.

However, there’s no way to select the paper type or the academic level. The former you must select on the homepage before you hit the “Order” button.

The latter is nowhere to be found. I guess it should go into the paper instructions field, but it doesn’t seem to influence the price much, from what I can tell. After you chat with writers and select the affordable bid, you can add extras to the cart before payment.

As the company relies on a bidding platform instead of standard rates per page, I had trouble understanding SameDayPapers prices. I tweaked my order this way and that to work out which factors influence the final cost, but couldn’t wrap my head around it.

First, I tried to find out how much a one-page essay would cost on a 14-day deadline and got offers from $26 to $35. Ultimately I settled on a 24-hour deadline and a mid-range offer. My 3-page-long essay cost $81. It seemed like a reasonable price on such short notice, but the whole bidding process took too much time.

Is SameDayPapers a good service? The answer depends on your expectations. For 80 bucks I expected to receive a well-written piece I’d be able to use in college. Instead, I got a messy 3-page-long opinionated rant with no supporting facts or evidence.

The writer didn’t go further than the first page of Google search results and used unreliable sources, which further undermined the lack of structure, thesis statement, and analysis.

I contacted the support team to learn more about the writer’s education and experience. Grace answered quickly and assured me all writers possess at least a Bachelor’s degree. However, when I pressed the issue, she provided the information from the order form I’d already read.

I tried to get to the bottom of the differences between different writers, but the support agent couldn’t provide me with a satisfactory answer, so I chose the basic option and didn’t try to contact the support team again.

In the order form, there was an option to choose writer quality. Premium adds 10% to the order total, while Platinum increases the price by 20%. I was confused by the mention of Premium writers possessing Bachelor’s degrees, while the “All writers” tab doesn’t list it as a benefit.

The company also offers to hand-pick the best writer for your order for just $9.99. It’s an ingenious way to squeeze more money from students in a hurry. First, they make the bidding process unnecessarily complicated and lengthy, and then they offer to help you avoid it for only ten bucks.

VIP support ($12.99), progressive delivery ($8.99), essay outline ($12.00), and a one-page abstract ($33.75) are all available at the final stage of the order process. The abstract price seemed ridiculous, and I decided to avoid all extras on principle.
